According to the Chinese myth, the moon goddess Chang`e gained her divine existence for the price of a lonely life on the moon, which parted her from her husband. Under the banner of this legend, the Chinese Moon Festival is celebrated in mid-August as a family festivity, where being together with the beloved ones has a special meaning.

The solid barrel made of gold-plated sterling silver of the limited edition “Myth of the Moon Goddess” presents the magnificent, hand-made motif of the moon goddess. This edition is limited to 568 specimens.
