The converter changes your cartridge fountain pen into a plunger fountain pen and is for filling of fountain pens from the ink glass for an economically and eco-friendly use. There are two ways of filling the converter:

1. Put the converter into your fountain pen, just like a cartridge. Then dip the pen into a glass of ink until the nib and part of the grip section is submerged in the ink. Afterwards, turn the rotating knob of the converter until the ink is soaked up. Subsequently, turn the knob of the Converter until the ink is absorbed.

2. Dip the converter in the ink glass to fill it directly. Afterwards, turn the rotating knob of the converter until the ink is soaked up. Now you can install the converter into the fountain pen the same ways as a cartridge. The Pelikan converter works with the most Pelikan cartridge fountain pens and many others.
